for one moment in time I was truly alive
sadness is as temporary as anything I've
grasped in desire to obtain forever

all the thoughts in my head begin to arrange
hating the lie they clal "forever"

it's time to move on, so run right ahead
patch up the holes where my heart once bled
dark crimson wishes begging forever

featherlost wings of romeo in flight
beating himself for things not done right
scraping on the ground too close to forever

i once was something in great demand

what this is now is not what i planned
